Following pickup at around 8:00AM or 12:15PM, take off from Ho Chi Minh City to the Non-touristy Ben Duoc Tunnels of this Cu Chi Tunnels Tours with an experienced English-speaking tour guide. The tunnels are located in the countryside, so you can see rice paddies along the road. After an approximately 1.5-hour car ride, arrive at the Tunnels. Start your visit by watching a short documentary film that takes you to the past with an introduction to the Cu Chi Tunnels. Learn about the history and significance of the tunnels during the Vietnam War, then start exploring. You can crawl distances through the tunnels that were used by the guerrilla fighters during the Vietnam War. You may see a kitchen, living quarters, and a meeting room on the way. Learn about how different types of traps were created and set up. Visit the weapons room and learn how the ingenious Viet Cong soldiers made them. Before the end of the tour, you can also try your hand at the shooting range with an AK-47. Arrive back in Ho Chi Minh City approximately at 3:30PM for morning tour and 7:00PM for afternoon tour.
